Thirteen. Exhibited at Patyolat, 2019.

Thirteen is a project created in Budapest documenting 13 artists who were selected for the Budapest Art Residency. Photographs were taken of each artist who responded to their image and returned them. Each photograph, therefore, is a collaboration between artists and mediums.

Alana Aphoy is a photographic artist born and based in Melbourne, Australia. She studied Fine Arts Photography at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) and got her start photographing bands and musicians around Melbourne’s vibrant music scene. Alana has participated in over 15 exhibitions in Melbourne, the United States and in Japan. She also creates work for private collectors in Australia and in Europe. Currently, she focuses her time developing long term street and documentary based photographic projects inspired by social issues.
